To be fair, elementary and middle schools earned a smattering of A's, B's, and C's. Their achievement was sufficient to weight the state's calculation for the district's overall grade to B. Why do I care? A commentator, who asked not to be posted, inquires. Here's the answer: I have twin step children who have just moved to the area and will enroll in the 9th grade in August. I am not equipped to home school.
